I have known Shanay for last almost 5 years. He has grown not only in stature but has shown immaculate maturity in handling the responsibilities life has thrown on to him. Since the time he has joined Shalby Hospitals in Ahmedabad, under the guidance of his Father Dr. Vikram Shah, he has risen from being the director of International Business to being the face of Shalby today.
Shanay by education is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a course that he did alongside his working at Shalby. During his tenure which began towards the end of 2013, not only did the hospital grew from 4 units to 11 units, it came out with an immensely successful IPO.
A very soft spoken and dynamic young man, Shanay has studied for a few years in London from where he did a Masters in International Health. Having started at International Business at Shalby Hospitals, the medical tourism business remains close to his heart.
Shalby has been known for its extremely superlative orthopedic services, specially Knee Replacements in which Dr. Vikram Shah is an expert. But Shanay is busy making it a comprehensive healthcare institute. Now, it also has a major presence in Oncology, Cardiac Surgeries, Neuro and Spine surgeries.
Off late, Shanay has been on an buying spree and has just finished sealing a deal with Asha Parekh Hospital of Mumbai. Shanay Remains a guy to watch out for in times to come.
Vinay Agarwal – Founder Director of Shinon Global.
I am yet to come across a man humbler then Vinay is. You will never come to know, while meeting him, that you are meeting a man behind one of the most successful Medical Travel Companies in India. Shinon Global, the company he founded about 10 years ago, is one of the most successful Transplant Travel Company today, not only in India but possibly in entire world. Yes, Shinon Global has assisted over 3000 transplant patients to come to India and their organ transplants done.

Vinay has been into Medical Travel Business out of circumstances. He was into textiles earlier and seed funded Shinon, which was brain child of his friend. When the seed fund dried up and the friend deserted him, a warrior by nature, Vinay could not leave Shinon to die down. He requested his brother to take over the textile business and himself started to rebuild Shinon, which today stands tall in the Indian Medical Value travel Business, with a formidable portfolio of Liver Transplants, Kidney Transplants, Bone Marrow Transplants, etc.
A visionary by nature, his instinct told him that a organic growth may take a long time to make Shinon a Global Giant, so he took a contious decision to merge the operations of Shinon with HBG Medical Assistance, another well-known medical assistance company run by his long standing well-wisher and friend Abhik Moitra. Today the merged entity Shinon – HBG Medical Assistance is one of the Largest Medical Assistance Company in the world with over 11000 patients assisted !
On his personal side, he is a poet and claims that he will retire from business after few years to write poetry ..
