Abhik Moitra is Management Graduate with Master’s in Business Administration. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Symbiosis institute, a very reputed institute in India. He also has an advance diploma is Sales, Marketing and Brand Management from National Institute of Sales and a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.

Abhik Moitra is Co- Founder and Director of Shinon HBG Medical Assistance, a premier Medical Travel company in India. His company Shinon HBG Medical Assistance, today, is one of the leading assistant providers to patient traveling from all over the world to India. Shinon HBG Medical Assistance has assisted over 11000 patients in last few years.

Abhik is also the General Secretary of Foundation of Healthcare and Wellness Promotion for India, an association involved in promotion of India as a healthcare destination.

He has deep interest in Ayurveda and Natural Medicines. He is part of CII’s core committee to promote Ayurveda beyond India. 

In 2018, Dr. Abhik Moitra featured in 100 most impactful Healthcare leader, in the Global Listing, at world health & wellness Conclave and awards. In 2019, again Dr. Moitra was listed in global listing  of 100 most prominent leaders in healthcare by IFAH.

Dr. Abhik Moitra has been listed in CEO Magazine as one of the prominent CEOs in healthcare industry in India. His company was listed as one of the fastest growing healthcare companies in India by CEO magazine in 2016. Also, He is one of the authors to have written modules for Symbiosis institute for their Medical Tourism syllabus.

When he is not busy managing HBG Medical Assistance, he is an avid reader, a story teller and content writer.  Given his training skills, The Medical Tourism Industry in India calls him “The Teacher” out of love and his contribution to the industry.
